As PennEnvironment's Field Director, Elowyn helps to coordinate the organization's work to educate and engage citizens around pressing environmental issues like combatting climate change.  She works to on build and leverage public support to protect our air, water, and open spaces, while increasing support for clean energy.

Before joining the PennEnvironment team in 2013, Elowyn graduated with high honors from Swarthmore College, with Bachelors degrees in Political Science and Peace Education.  She has run citizen outreach offices in Pennsylvania and North Carolina with the Community Voters Project, Work for Progress, and the Fund for the Public Interest. Although very proud to call herself a Philadelphian, Elowyn is originally from Northern California, where she spent much of her time organizing around access to education for low-income communities and exploring natural treasures like Yosemite National Park.
